A Fairy Tale Wedding

On August 11th, in the beautiful mountain resort of Lenzerheide, Marco (a childhood friend of Claudio), and his fiance, Seraina were married. It was such a honor to be there for the special day. The weather was perfect, sunny and fresh. The bride, gorgeous and the groom very handsome. I was in for a surprise, as Alex’s pediatrician from the hospital ended up being there, who just so happens to be friends with Seraina. She is a complete sweetheart and I was thrilled to see her. Brace yourself for a ton of pictures!

I’ll start with the card I made for the couple.

After a short shuttle ride, we ended up at a little church with this amazing view

First glimpse of the bride with her father. The flowers, including her bouquet were hand-picked by the maid of honor the morning of the wedding.

They had a full mass and a singer with a voice so similar to Whitney Houston; she so perfectly sang “I Will Always Love you” and Alicia Key’s “No One”.

Dinner & speeches

Marco introduced every single person that was in attendance, followed by speeches from the maid of honor, best man, and both parents of the bride and groom.

After each speech, one course of the five-course-meal was served.

The following day, we had brunch together before heading home.
