Halloween

This was Alex’s first Halloween that he actually was able to enjoy (last year at this time we were in the hospital with him). We borrowed a Halloween costume from a photographer that took our pictures earlier this month. Alex was the cutest polar bear I’ve ever seen. We went to church, and afterwards they had a big Halloween-themed coffee Sunday. If you look through the pictures below, the children in the pictures are all from our church. It was fun to celebrate with Alex! We didn’t go trick-or-treating. We were going to wait and see if any other kids went out, but they didn’t seem to in our neighborhood.

Quick story:
On our way home from church, an older Swiss lady came up to us randomly and asked why Alex was dressed up like an animal. I jokingly told her it was because we were on our way to go trick-or-treating at her house. She said “excuse me!?…” and gave me the strangest look. Claudio explained to her what Halloween is, yet she still didn’t think I was funny.. Oh well! 🙂
